- FPS: Feet per second β measurement of how fast a projectile leaves the barrel.
- Joule: A unit of energy used to rate the power of airsoft and airguns.
- Hop-Up: Mechanism that applies backspin to BBs to increase range.
- CO2: Gas used in airguns and paintball markers as a power source.
- Green Gas: Propane-based gas used in many airsoft pistols and rifles.
- HPA: High-Pressure Air β used in paintball and some airsoft setups.
- Air Tank: Stores compressed air or CO2 for use in guns.
